Taylor Jones - Back in majorsJones was recalled from the Astros' alternate training site Wednesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactYordan Alvarez was placed on the injured list for an undisclosed reason as a corresponding move, so Jones may only be up for a couple days. He could see time at first base and designated hitter while primarily serving as a right-handed bat off the bench.

Yordan Alvarez - To IL for undisclosed reasonAlvarez was placed on the injured list Wednesday with no injury designation, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactHe was held out of Wednesday's lineup against the Mariners for what manager Dusty Baker called "health and safety" reasons, so Alvarez presumably was either exposed to someone with COVID-19 or is showing symptoms, although we can't be sure at this juncture. Taylor Jones was recalled in a corresponding move.

Mitch Haniger - Late scratch WednesdayHaniger was a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup against the Astros, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
ImpactIt is unclear why Haniger was scratched. Sam Haggerty was moved up to the leadoff spot while Jose Marmolejos slots in as the right fielder, batting sixth.

Sam Haggerty - Starting again WednesdayHaggerty is starting at second base and batting sixth Wednesday in Houston. He has now started five of the last six games.
ImpactDylan Moore is slumping, and meanwhile, Haggerty is hitting .429 with one home run, two steals and a 4:3 K:BB over his last six games (14 at-bats). It appears Seattle is going to play the hot hand at the keystone, and right now that's Haggerty, whose speed makes him noteworthy in deeper roto leagues.
