He would score on Anthony Rendon's third-inning single as well as a homer and a triple from Brian Goodwin in the fourth and eighth innings, respectively. Through eight games, Fletcher is slashing .400/.486/.500 with five runs scored and four RBI.

ImpactGoodwin went yard with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. He added an RBI triple in the eighth to bring the Angels within two runs. Goodwin has posted three straight multi-hit efforts -- the outfielder is 6-for-11 with two homers, six RBI and three runs scored in that span. Overall, he's batting .450/.522/.950 in six games as the Angels' primary option in right field.

ImpactAndriese's short outing Friday forced to Angels to dig deep into the bullpen, ultimately using nine total pitchers in the high-scoring battle with the Astros. It was Andriese's first start of the year -- he previously tossed 5.2 scoreless innings against the Athletics in relief of Shohei Ohtani on July 26. The bad outing inflated Andriese's ERA to 4.91 in 7.1 innings this season. He's expected to face the Rangers on the road next Friday in his next start.
