Mitch Haniger - Resting TuesdayHaniger isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Tuesday's game against Oakland.
ImpactHaniger is 1-for-15 with six strikeouts over his last five games and will now miss out on the starting nine for the second consecutive game. Cal Raleigh will take over as Seattle's designated hitter while Mitch Garver catches for Luis Castillo.

Daz Cameron - Resting again TuesdayCameron isn't in the Athletics' lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.
ImpactCameron will sit down for a second consecutive game after going 6-for-31 with 12 strikeouts across his past eight contests. Seth Brown will start in left field instead, opening up first base for Tristan Gray.
SEPTEMBER 3ROTOWIRE
Leonardo Rivas - Swipes base as pinch runnerRivas entered Monday's loss to the Athletics as a pinch runner in the top of the eighth inning and recorded a stolen base.
ImpactRivas swiped third on Dylan Moore's swinging strikeout, but he was left stranded 90 feet away from home plate when Mitch Haniger also went down on strikes to close out the frame. Rivas had been out of the starting nine for the fourth time in the five games since J.P. Crawford's activation from the injured list, and although the former is scuffling at the plate, Rivas figures to continue seeing only intermittent playing time for the foreseeable future.

Scott Alexander - Live BP session goes wellAlexander (shoulder) came away from Monday's live batting practice session feeling healthy, MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe veteran left-hander continued to make steady progress Monday, with the live BP session coming on the heels of a successful bullpen Friday. Alexander's next step is almost certainly a rehab assignment, with a decision on that front likely coming by Wednesday.
SEPTEMBER 3ROTOWIRE
Austin Adams - Bullpen sessions forthcomingAdams (forearm) is scheduled to throw bullpen sessions Tuesday and Friday, MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe right-hander has been on the shelf for just over two weeks, having hit the IL on Aug. 18. The Athletics will wait to see how Adams emerges from the two bullpen sessions before a decision is made on whether to send him on a rehab assignment for the tail end of the minor-league season. Adams has been a valuable sixth- and seventh-inning option for manager Mark Kotsay all season, making 56 appearances and recording a win and 22 holds along the way.

Austin Voth - Hit with fifth loss MondayVoth (2-5) took the loss against the Athletics on Monday, allowing a game-winning solo home run to the only batter he faced.
ImpactVoth dueled with Shea Langeliers for six pitches to open the bottom of the ninth in a 4-4 tie, and the backstop ultimately got the better of the battle when he launched a 418-foot shot to left field to walk it off for the Athletics. It was the second homer allowed by Voth in his last five outings and snapped a three-appearance scoreless streak that had temporarily lowered the right-hander's ERA to under 3.00. Despite the stumble Monday, Voth retains an impressive 3.13 ERA and 0.93 WHIP across 61 appearances, numbers he's complemented with 13 holds.
SEPTEMBER 3ROTOWIRE
Tyler Ferguson - Nabs third win MondayFerguson (3-2) got the win against the Mariners on Monday, striking out the side in a perfect ninth inning.
ImpactFerguson nearly pulled off the rare feat of throwing the minimum number of pitches in his dominant frame, retiring Victor Robles, J.P. Crawford and Julio Rodriguez on swinging strikeouts that required just 12 offerings overall. Ferguson then was rewarded for his pristine work when the Athletics walked it off in the bottom of the ninth with Shea Langeliers' solo home run, which afforded Ferguson his second win in the last three appearances. Ferguson clearly has the stuff to work in high-leverage, late-inning spots whenever closer Mason Miller isn't available, which was the case Monday after the latter threw 34 pitches in a rough 1.2-inning outing Sunday.
