Kyle Seager - Two doubles in lossSeager went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a run, walk and strikeout in a 6-4 loss to San Diego on Saturday.
ImpactSeager doubled in the first and eighth to reach 12 on the season and place him among the league leaders. Despite subpar rates this season his .788 OPS qualifies him as a solid option in most formats.

Mitch Haniger - Smashes 13th homerHaniger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, walk and strikeout in Saturday's 6-4 loss to San Diego.
ImpactHaniger took Ryan Weathers deep in the third to tie the game at one but was quiet otherwise in the loss. His 13th homer puts him at third in MLB as he looks to continue an early-season power surge.

Justus Sheffield - Surrenders five in lossSheffield (3-4) took the 6-4 loss Saturday to the Padres, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and five walks with three strikeouts.
ImpactSheffield allowed a single run through the game's first four innings but broke down in the fifth, allowing six base runners and five runs in a poor final inning. He was efficient with 91 pitches despite a season-high five walks which may be the only Brightside to an otherwise subpar outing. A 5.11 ERA is below average, but he remains an upside option for a young Seattle team.

Mark Melancon - Two-out saveMelancon went 0.2 innings with no runs, hits or walks and two strikeouts to secure his 16th save in San Diego's 6-4 win against Seattle on Saturday.
ImpactSan Diego entered the ninth with a four-run lead but reliever Austin Adams allowed two base runners and a run which necessitated Melancon's services. A throwaway from Melancon himself enabled another run to score but the MLB saves leader whiffed both Mariners he faced to lock down the Padres' victory. He remains an elite option.

Craig Stammen - Perfect inning to earn winStammen (3-1) pitched a 1-2-3 fifth inning with two strikeouts to earn a 6-4 victory over Seattle.
ImpactStammen relieved starter Ryan Weathers and cruised to an easy win after San Diego went up 6-1 in the bottom of the fifith. He's yet to allow a run in 10.1 May innings and remains a key cog in San Diego's loaded bullpen.
