Chris Stratton - Grabs another win Stratton (9-4) retired the only batter he faced to earn the win Friday over the Reds.

Impact Stratton got the last out of the top of the seventh inning before the Cardinals rallied ahead in the bottom half of the frame. Stratton has picked up two wins in his last three appearances, and he's logged a solid 3.06 ERA despite a 1.47 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB in 17.2 innings with the Cardinals since joining them from Pittsburgh at the trade deadline.

Ryan Helsley - Immaculate inning for save Helsley struck out the side on nine pitches to earn the save in Friday's 6-5 win over the Reds.

Impact It was the third immaculate inning recorded in Cardinals history, and it was enough to secure a win after St. Louis trailed three times in the contest. Helsley has converted six straight save chances despite allowing two runs over six innings in that span. The hard-throwing righty owns a 1.21 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 87:17 K:BB through 59.1 innings while racking up 18 saves in 22 attempts, six holds and a 9-1 record.

Jack Flaherty - Tough start versus Reds Flaherty allowed four runs on six hits, two walks and two hit batsman while striking out five over five innings versus the Reds on Friday. He did not factor in the decision.

Impact Flaherty was able to avoid yielding a home run for the second time in three starts since returning from a shoulder injury. It still wasn't a sharp start, and he's now allowed 18 hits and seven walks while plunking three batters in that span. For the season, he has a 5.09 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 17:16 K:BB through 23 innings across six starts. He's lined up for a road start in San Diego next week.
