Impact He did well in an extended spring training game Friday and will fly to Seattle on Saturday to join the big-league club. With the Rays set to face righty Chris Flexen on Sunday, it's a good spot to get the lefty-hitting Choi back in the mix. He is hitting .357 with two home runs, a 20.8 BB% and a 32.1 K% in 15 games this season.

Impact Ramirez drew his third start in the last five games in the absence of Ji-Man Choi (elbow) and after the demotion of Josh Lowe. Impact The backstop made the most of his lone hit of the game, going deep to left field with two men aboard in the fourth inning to give the Rays a 4-0 lead. The homer was Zunino's fourth of the campaign, three of which have come over his past six games. He's still batting just .143 on the campaign, but Zunino has perked up a bit by going 4-for-13 over his past four contests.

Brooks Raley - Records second save Raley earned the save against the Mariners on Thursday, completing a perfect inning during which he struck out one batter.
Impact Andrew Kittredge has emerged as the Rays' most frequent closer this season, but he had pitched each of the the previous three days and was given the night off Thursday. Raley stepped in to fill the ninth-inning role and did well, retiring the side on 12 pitches to preserve a one-run lead. The save was the southpaw's second of the season, and he could get additional chances here and there, though probably not enough to make him a viable fantasy asset in leagues that don't count holds.

Shane McClanahan - Picks up second win McClanahan (2-2) earned the win over Seattle on Thursday, completing 5.1 innings and allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five.
Impact After striking out at least seven batters in each of his first five starts of the season, McClanahan racked up a more modest five punchouts and induced just eight swinging strikes Thursday. Nonetheless, the southpaw kept the Mariners off the scoreboard for the first four innings and departed after 5.1 frames having done enough to earn the win. McClanahan has yet to surrender more than three runs in an outing this season and has looked the part of an ace with a 3.06 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 47:9 K:BB across 32.1 innings. He's expected to next take the mound in Los Angeles against the Angels on Tuesday.
