Richie Palacios - Out of Wednesday's lineupPalacios is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.
ImpactPalacios has gone 10-for-24 over his past seven contests but will sit Wednesday for the third time in Tampa Bay's past five games. Jose Caballero will handle the keystone and bat eighth against Royals righty Michael Wacha.

Taylor Walls - Heading bench WednesdayWalls is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game at Kansas City.
ImpactWalls started the previous four games but will sit Wednesday after going 1-for-10 with three walks and five strikeouts during that stretch. Jose Caballero will take over at shortstop and bat eighth.

Justin Sterner - Back in big leaguesThe Rays recalled Sterner from Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
ImpactHe will take the roster spot vacated by Aaron Civale, who has been traded to the Brewers. Sterner has made two appearances out of the Rays' bullpen this season, allowing two runs (one earned) with a 4:1 K:BB over four innings. He'll be used in low-leverage spots.
JULY 3ROTOWIRE
Shane Baz - Taking Civale's spot in rotationBaz will be recalled from Triple-A Durham to take Aaron Civale's spot in the Rays' rotation, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ImpactPrior to being traded to the Brewers, Civale's next turn was slated to be Friday in Texas. It's not clear whether Baz will start that day or another, but his return to the big leagues is imminent. Baz struggled in May at Durham with a 7.71 ERA and 9:13 K:BB over 16.1 innings, but he rebounded in June, collecting a 1.57 ERA and 35:10 K:BB across 23 frames. The Rays could be careful with his workload in his first season back from Tommy John surgery, but Baz should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
