Ezequiel Duran - Makes fourth straight start Duran went 1-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Duran made a fourth consecutive start and hit safely in all of them. He's 6-for-16 with a home run and six RBI during the hit streak. Duran will continue to share shortstop with the lefty-hitting Josh Smith and has stolen at-bats from him against righties due to a better bat. His opportunities will dry up when Corey Seager (hamstring) returns, which is not expected for at least another two weeks.

Corey Seager - Fielding grounders Seager (hamstring) fielded groundballs prior to games Saturday and Sunday, Shawn McFarland of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Impact Seager began baseball activities last week, initially playing catch and taking soft-toss swings. The work in the field represents a progression in those activities. Next up will be running followed by an expected rehab assignment.

Marcus Semien - Steals base in win Semien went 0-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Semien went hitless in a game which the Rangers piled on 15 runs on 11 hits and four home runs but did notch his fourth steal of the season after walking in the second inning. Semien still leads the team with 30 hits on the year and leads all of baseball with 25 runs scored. He's now slashing .268/.346/.455 with five homers, 23 RBI and a 14:22 BB:K over 127 plate appearances.

Nathaniel Lowe - Joins home run barrage Sunday Lowe went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer, two walks and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Lowe went back-to-back with Adolis Garcia in the fifth inning for his fourth homer of the year and just his second since April 12. The 27-year-old also drew multiple walks for the first time this year and came around to score both times. Lowe has tallied a hit in five of his last six games and has upped his slash line to .257/.339/.459 with 14 extra base hits, 19 RBI, 20 runs and a 13:25 BB:K over 124 plate appearances.

Adolis García - Homers in lopsided win Garcia went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Garcia went back-to-back with Nathaniel Lowe in the fifth for his eighth home run of the season and his league-leading 30th RBI. He would also get a base knock and a walk and came around to score both times and now sits second in baseball with 24 runs scored. Sunday was Garcia's fourth multi-hit effort over his last nine games and he's bumped up his slash line to .267/.322/.533. The 30-year-old has showcased more patience at the dish thus far, striking out just under 23 percent of the time, which would be the lowest mark of his career by a significant margin.

Jonah Heim - Goes long in blowout win Heim went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Heim pulverized Yankee pitching Sunday. He kicked things off with a double in the fourth and followed that up with solo blast to right center in the fifth. The 28-year-old came back up with the bases loaded in the sixth and plated two with another double. It has been a dream start to the season for Heim, who's now slashing .303/.386/.592 with five homers, 22 RBI, 16 runs and a 10:14 BB:K over 88 plate appearances. He leads all catchers and is now tied for sixth in the majors with 22 RBI.

Josh Jung - Mashes grand slam in win Jung went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, a double, a walk, five RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Yankees.
Impact Jung collected his first career grand slam in the first inning after taking Nestor Cortes deep to right field to open up a 4-0 lead for the Rangers. He would reach base again after a bases loaded walk in the sixth and then later doubled in the eighth and came around to score both times. The 25-year-old is now slashing .270/.324/.500 with six homers, 21 RBI, 18 runs and a 7:35 BB:K over 108 plate appearances. He's certainly put himself in the early conversation for AL Rookie of the Year after a fast start to kick off the first month of the season.

Martín Pérez - Cruises to fourth win Perez (4-1) got the win over the Yankees on Sunday, allowing one run on six hits and a walk while striking out two over six innings.
Impact It was an efficient outing for Perez on Sunday, who only needed 70 pitches to navigate through six innings. He undoubtedly could have kept going but there was no need to risk a possible injury with the Rangers up 14-1 by the end of the sixth. The 32-year-old induced plenty of weak contact and his only blemish on the day came in the third, after a single, a double and a groundout plated a run for the Yankees. Perez continues to find ways to get the job done despite his velocity being down a tick and that he's been giving up more fly balls than last year in the early going. He sits at a 2.41 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB over 33.2 innings and tentatively lines up to face the Angels on the road next weekend.
