ImpactSmith was part of the trade in which Joey Gallo was traded from the Rangers to the Yankees in late July. The 24-year-old has appeared in nine games at High-A Hickory, and he slashed .295/.367/.432 with a home run, three doubles, 10 runs, seven RBI and two stolen bases.

ImpactFoscue returned from the 7-day minor-league injured list July 11 and has slashed .358/.458/.938 with 12 home runs, a triple, nine doubles, 29 RBI, 26 runs and a stolen base in 20 games since then. A spot at Double-A Frisco opened up after six players were placed on the injured list due to contact tracing Wednesday, but the 22-year-old will presumably remain at Double-A on a long-term basis given his recent performance.
