Chad Green - Takes loss Sunday Green (4-4) took the loss Sunday against the Twins allowing three runs on three hits while striking out a batter over an inning. Impact Green entered with a 3-1 lead and blew his first save of the season. He retired the first batter he faced before allowing back-to-back singles and then surrendered a three-run homer to Royce Lewis to give the Twins their first lead of the game and eventually the win. Before Sunday's outing, Green was a perfect 16-for-16 in save opportunities, and he had gone five straight scoreless outings. The 33-year-old is still putting together one of the greatest seasons of his career, posting a 2.17 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 40:11 K:BB in 45.2 innings.
