Bo Bichette - Homers, triples in winBichette went 2-for-5 with one triple, a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-3 victory over the Reds.
ImpactIn only his second game since an 18-day stint on the injured list due to patellar tendinitis in his right knee, Bichette proved his health with a triple in the first. He then homered in the fourth as he extended a modest hit streak to eight games. Bichette holds a .320 batting average which ranks second in the American League and raised his league-leading hit total to 147.

George Springer - Blasts 15th homerSpringer went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Sunday's victory over the Reds.
ImpactSpringer returned following a two-game absence due to a jammed left ankle to record his fifth multi-hit effort in 12 games. However, Springer has also been in the midst of a power outage of late as the homer marked only his second since the All-Star break. Springer is now slashing .259/.327/.400 with 15 homers, 50 RBI, 64 runs scored and 16 steals.

Brandon Belt - Homers twice in winBelt went 2-for-5 with two homers, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Reds.
ImpactBelt blasted a two-run home run in the third of Reds starter Hunter Greene, then got to him again by belting a solo shot in the fourth. It was the second multi-homer game of the season for Belt who's up to 13 home runs in his inaugural season with the Blue Jays. Following a slow start in the power department, the long-time former Giant now has nine dingers since the calendar flipped to July.

Hunter Greene - Blasted for eight earned runsGreene (2-5) took the loss Sunday, allowing nine runs (eight earned) on 10 hits and three walks over three innings in a 10-3 loss against the Blue Jays. He struck out four.
ImpactGreene was ineffective in his first start since being placed on the 60-day injured list with right hip discomfort. After allowing five runs (four earned) in the first two innings, Green sent the Blue Jays down in order in the third. He then failed to generate an out in the fourth, allowing three home runs and walking two prior to being pulled. The eight earned runs and five homers allowed each matched a career high, while the three innings pitched match the second shortest outing of his young career. Greene is tentatively scheduled to make his next start Friday in Arizona against the Diamondbacks.

Bowden Francis - Earns three inning saveFrancis picked up the save Sunday against the Reds. He allowed one run on two hits and zero walks while striking out four over three innings.
ImpactWith the Blue Jays up big, Francis was called upon to pitch the final three frames, earning his first career save in the process. Though working mostly in low-leverage situations, the reliever has been effective when called upon with a 2.03 ERA and 0.83 WHIP in 26.2 innings.
