The 29-year-old righty owns a 5.17 ERA and 1.43 WHIP through 47 innings in the big leagues, though he will have the benefit of facing the White Sox in his first outing back, who possess the worst scoring offense in the majors.

By rule, Megill will have to stay at Triple-A for 15 days, which means he likely won't be back on the active roster until after the All-Star break.

Impact Megill allowed six baserunners and five runs in a disastrous 38-pitch first inning.
