Brad Hand - Takes loss Wednesday Hand (5-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out none across two innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Marlins. Impact Hand was called upon to to keep the game tied at one in the ninth inning, and he did so without allowing a baserunner. However, he ran into trouble in his second inning of work, walking a batter with one out before allowing a double and subsequent sacrifice fly to take the loss. Though his trouble came with the runner starting on second base in extra innings, Hand has now allowed three earned runs across his last 7.1 innings while also being tagged with a loss and a blown save in that span. Even so, he has a 2.63 ERA with a 40:16 K:BB across 41 innings on the season.
