Top-5 Finish at Watkins Glen Elliott finished fourth in the Go Bowling at the Glen NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International Sunday afternoon. Impact Elliott started on the pole and led a race-high 29 laps. He would be in control late and seemingly on his way to victory lane, but a late caution and restart would derail Elliott's plans. Kyle Larson would be Elliott into turn 1 on the restart and that would seal his fate. The driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet would fade a couple more spots in the mayhem of the closing laps and fall to fifth-place by the checkered flag. it was Elliott's 10th Top-5 finish of the season.
