Runner-up Daytona Duel Finish Elliott finished second in the Bluegreen Vacations Duel 1 for the Daytona 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway Thursday night. Impact Elliott showed he could race among the leaders this full 60-lap event, even though he didn't lead any laps. The driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet would attempt to guard Kyle Larson's rear bumper down the stretch, but Tyler Reddick would knife between them and take the lead. Larson would fade to ninth at the checkered flag, but Elliott would snap onto the rear bumper of Reddick and ride second-place to the finish.
