Driving limited Cup schedule Lajoie will drive a limited schedule in the No. 01 Ford for Rick Ware Racing including attempting to qualify for the 2025 Daytona 500, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports. Impact Lajoie's future was up in the air for 2025 after he was traded from Spire Motorsports to Rick Ware Racing for Justin Haley for the final seven races of the season. After the trade RWR did not commit to Lajoie driving for the team in 2025. After RWR decided to lease a one of their two charters for this upcoming season to RFK, the team was left with just one full-time charter, which was announced previously would be raced full-time by Cody Ware in the No. 51. Lajoie was able to come to an agreement with RWR and his Stacking Pennies Performance brand to have him drive the No. 01 on a part-time basis in the Cup Series in 2025. It is basically the No. 15 RWR team that will also be driven by multiple drivers on a part-time basis, but will be branded the No. 01 when Lajoie is behind the wheel. No other races have been announced for Lajoie outside of the Daytona 500. He will also be an analyst for Prime Video during their five-race stretch in the summer beginning at the Coca-Cola 600 in late May.
