Third in Las Vegas Suarez finished third in the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The Trackhouse Racing veteran started 23rd on the grid and had a good game plan for Sunday's 400-mile race. Suarez patiently worked his way forward and broke inside the Top 10 by stage 2. He would lead 57 laps during that portion of the race and establish steadfast track position. Down the stretch he would hold off William Byron to claim an impressive third-place finish in the South Point 400. It was just his fourth Top 5 of the season.
