Impact The Joe Gibbs Racing star dominated most of this playoff short track battle. Hamlin led a race-high 203 laps and swept the first two stages. He would fall back in traffic a bit late in this Xfinity 500. Needing to make the field of the Championship 4 on points, Hamlin would be passed on the final lap by Ross Chastain and would be knocked out of the playoffs despite the strong Top-5 finish.
