Runner-up Finish at Richmond Hamlin finished second in the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway Sunday night. Impact Hamlin started on the pole and led a race-high 124 laps. However, Austin Dillon would take the lead from him with 28 laps to go and then a late caution would fore overtime. A dust up on the final lap between Dillon and Joey Logano would send the No. 22 into the wall and even Hamlin would get clipped in the exchange, but still pilot his No. 11 Toyota across the finish line to earn an impressive second-place at Richmond.
