Out for rest of regular season Busch (concussion) announced via Twitter that he will miss the final two races of the regular season.

Impact As long as there are not two new winners in the last two races of the regular season Busch will be eligible to compete in the NASCAR Playoffs. Ty Gibbs will remain in the No. 45 car at both Watkins Glen this week and Daytona next week. Busch says that he continues to get better each day, but it doesn't really make sense for him to come back on a road course or superspeedway. He will be looking ahead to the Southern 500 at Darlington on Sept. 4.

Will miss fourth straight race Busch announced via Twitter that he is not ready to race yet and will miss Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond.

Impact Busch said that he tried to push himself this week to put his heart and body in a race simulation environment, but it was clear he wasn't ready to be back in the race car. Busch added that this was the hardest week emotionally for him because he can feel the progression of his recovery from a concussion, but being able to sustain intense race conditions is another story. Ty Gibbs will be back in the car for Sunday's race at Richmond. Busch will remain eligible for the playoffs assuming he's healthy as long as there are not two new winners in the last three races of the regular season.
