The JTG Daugherty Racing veteran would race among the leaders during the second overtime restart. Yet another crash would occur after the white flag was displayed, and Stenhouse would be declared the winner when caution came out. He would grab his third-career victory and snap a five-season winless drought with a big one. It was Stenhouse's first-career Daytona 500 victory.
