DNF at Atlanta Stenhouse Jr. ran into trouble and finished 37th in the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Impact The recent struggles of this driver and team continued at Atlanta Sunday afternoon. Stenhouse would be caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. On lap 32 the No. 51 of Cody Ware would get loose off turn 2 and set off a multi-car crash. Stenhouse would nose hard into the inside wall of the backstretch and cause significant damage. The team would make repairs and keep him in the race several laps down. However, he'd eventually retire on lap 178 due to suspension issues. The DNF was his fourth of the season and third in the last six events.

Engine Failure at Pocono Stenhouse Jr. suffered an engine failure and finished 38th in the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 at Pocono Raceway Sunday afternoon.
Impact In the early going things would look promising for the JTG Daugherty Racing veteran. Stenhouse would finish stage 1 seventh and look good for the rest of the event. However, lap 111 would see the No. 47 Chevrolet go up in smoke. Stenhouse would roll it to the garage area and he would be finished for the day. It comes on the heels of his steady Top-15 Finish Saturday at the Pocono tri-oval. It was Stenhouse's second DNF in the last four races and third of the season.

Runner-up Finish on the Dirt Stenhouse Jr. finished second in the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway Monday afternoon.
Impact The JTG Daugherty Racing veteran took advantage of his dirt racing background and turned in his best performance of the season Monday at Bristol. Stenhouse started 13th on the grid and raced among the Top 10 the full event. He wasn't able to get into the lead but he would race among the leaders for the full 250 laps. The late restart would give Stenhouse a shot at the win, but he couldn't seriously challenge Joey Logano. The runner-up finish was his first Top 5 of the season.

DNF at Kanasas Speedway Stenhouse Jr. suffered an electrical issue and finished 40th in the Super Start Batteries 400 at Kansas Speedway Thursday night.
Impact The JTG Daugherty Racing veteran would have a short night at the Kansas oval. Stenhouse would only make it 58 laps into the scheduled 267 laps before running into a problem. Under green-flag racing his No. 47 Chevrolet would fill with smoke and bring him to pit road for an unscheduled stop. Stenhouse would climb from his smokey machine and the crew would take it to the garage area. The electrical issue would take the veteran driver out of the race for the night and saddle Stenhouse with his fifth DNF of the season and third in the last four races.
