Top-5 Finish at WWTR Blaney finished fourth in the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway Sunday afternoon.
Impact The Penske Racing youngster started up front and raced among the Top 10 the full event Sunday at World Wide Technology Raceway. Blaney would lead just once for 12 laps and that would be the extent of his time at the point. He would battle door-to-door with Kurt Busch during the overtime laps, but would fall behind the No. 45 Toyota to finish fourth. It was Blaney's fifth Top 5 of the season and snapped a five-race Top-10 drought.
