Crash and DNF at Kansas Blaney crashed and finished 37th in the Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact Trouble found a few of the playoff drivers, but Blaney would have it the worst. He would be racing to an apparent Top-10 finish, but would wreck in turn 2 with just 44 laps to go. The damage to the No. 12 Ford would be very extensive and it would be retired to the garage for the day. The DNF was Blaney's third of the season. He drops to fifth-place in the Chase standings at 1-point behind Kyle Busch for the final championship round spot.
