Running select Xfinity races for RCR Dillon will pilot the No. 3 Chevrolet in select NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2023 for Richard Childress Racing. Impact This deal came together thanks to a longtime partner of Dillon, Ferris Mowers, hoping on board to sponsor his Cup Series car with Spire Motorsports in a select number of races, including the Daytona 500. They will also give Dillon a chance to run a competitive car in the Xfinity Series in an unknown number of races. As a Cup Series veteran, it is expected that Dillon won't be able to exceed five starts in the Xfinity Series. Justin Alexander will be the crew chief for this part-time No. 3 car, which was driven last year in a race at Talladega by Jeffrey Earnhardt and finished second.
