Fifth-Place at Martinsville Byron finished fifth in the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Impact Byron continued to end the season on a hot streak with his performance in the Xfinity 500. The young driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet started 11th on the grid and raced into the Top 5 by the end of stage 1. Byron would remain a Top-5 driver for much of the remainder of the race. He would have a rather uneventful race en route to the strong fifth-place finish. It was Byron's 12th Top 5 of the season and extended his current Top-10 streak to three races.

A late caution would give him a glimmer of hope at catching leader Kyle Larson. However, the No. 5 Chevrolet would comfortably pull away over the last 2 laps.
