Awarded Truck Pole Smith was awarded the provisional pole for the FR8 208 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Friday.

Impact Rainy weather has struck Atlanta Motor Speedway Friday afternoon and washed out track activities for the day. NASCAR has resorted to the rule book and used metrics to set the field for Saturday's FR8 208. Smith will roll off P1 with Ty Majeski alongside him on the front row. The driver of the No. 38 Ford truck will take advantage of this good starting track position and be a top contender to win Saturday at Atlanta.
