Bogdan Bogdanovic - Out at least four weeks The Hawks announced that Bogdanovic (hamstring) underwent a non-surgical procedure Monday and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.

Impact Bogdanovic has missed Atlanta's last three games while dealing with right hamstring tendinopathy but has now undergone a medical procedure to fix the issue. With Vit Krejci (adductor) and Kobe Bufkin (shoulder) also out for significant periods, Dyson Daniels (hip) and Garrison Matthews are candidates to receive increased playing time. At earliest, Bogdanovic will be able to return to action in December.

Vít Krejcí - Will miss at least two weeks The Hawks announced Tuesday that Krejci (thigh) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Impact Krejci sustained a right adductor strain during Monday's loss to Washington and will miss multiple weeks. With Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) also sidelined for multiple weeks, the Hawks' backcourt depth looks thin.

Kobe Bufkin - Out at least one month The Hawks announced Tuesday that Bufkin (shoulder) will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.

Impact Bufkin suffered a right shoulder subluxation during a recent practice and will miss at least a month. He's begun treatment and rehabilitation, but it'll likely be a while before he returns to on-court activities. His extended absence shouldn't have a major impact on Atlanta's rotation.

Vít Krejcí - Ruled out for Wednesday Krejci (thigh) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Impact Krejci will miss at least one game after suffering a right adductor injury during Monday's loss to Washington. With Dyson Daniels (hip) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) also out, David Roddy and Garrison Mathews would be candidates for increased roles.

Impact Zeller remains away from the team for personal reasons. He doesn't have a return timetable. And even when he's available, he'll be operating as the fourth center behind Clint Capela, Onyeka Okongwu and Larry Nance.

Onyeka Okongwu - Not listed on injury report Okongwu (toe) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Impact Okongwu didn't play Monday against the Wizards, which was the second night of a back-to-back set, but he'll return to action Wednesday. After exploding for 28 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in the season opener, Okongwu totaled 21 points, 11 rebounds and two steals over his next two appearances before resting Monday.

De'Andre Hunter - Questionable for Wednesday Hunter (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Impact Hunter has missed two straight games due to right knee inflammation but could return to action Wednesday. However, the questionable tag doesn't bring much optimism, as he was also listed as questionable before his two absences. If Hunter is ruled out, rookie No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher should draw another start.

Impact Daniels has broken out through the first four games of the season, averaging 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.0 blocks in 32.3 minutes per game. It's unclear when he suffered the injury or how severe it is, but the Hawks will be extremely shorthanded Wednesday, as Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) and Vit Krejci (thigh) remain out, while De'Andre Hunter (knee) is questionable. Daniels' next chance to suit up will come Friday versus the Kings.

Dyson Daniels - Steal streak continues Monday Daniels logged 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and three steals over 36 minutes during Monday's 121-119 loss to the Wizards.

Impact Daniels has been a low-usage offensive player for the Hawks, but his defense has been excellent. He's recorded at least one steal in each of his first four games, averaging 2.8 swipes in his 32.5 minutes. He's also blocking 1.0 shots per game. As the No. 8 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Daniels was known for his defense, so these types of performances should continue.

David Roddy - Scores nine off bench Roddy accumulated nine points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 19 minutes during Monday's 121-119 loss to the Wizards.

Impact Due to injuries to Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) and De'Andre Hunter (knee), Roddy has been able to get some rotation minutes in two straight games. He's been solid for the most part, averaging 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 19.5 minutes during that mini stretch.

Larry Nance Jr. - Productive off bench Nance accumulated 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 23 minutes during Monday's 121-119 loss to the Wizards.

Impact Onyeka Okongwu was rested, and the Hawks were shorthanded elsewhere as well. Nance has a history of being productive in category leagues when the minutes are there, and Monday night was no different. He wasn't in the rotation in the opening three games of the season, however, but he did make a case to the coaching staff that he'll be ready when his name is called.

Clint Capela - Perfect from field Monday Capela closed Monday's 121-119 loss to Washington with 16 points (6-6 FG, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 25 minutes.

Impact Capela had been outplayed by Onyeka Okongwu (toe) in recent games, but with the latter sidelined Monday, Capela stated his case to continue in a starting role Monday. The veteran big man displayed an efficient touch near the rim and also made his mark defensively. Capela is not expected to record the numbers he used to deliver in his prime years with Houston, but he remains a serviceable fantasy alternative who can threaten with a double-double every time he steps on the court.

Trae Young - Struggles from field Monday Young closed with 14 points (2-15 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds, 13 assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 121-119 loss to the Wizards.

Impact On the surface, the stat line looks good since Young handed out double-digit assists for the third time in four contests while ending just two rebounds shy of a triple-double. However, the shooting woes can't be overlooked, and the star floor general would've had an even worse scoring effort hadn't it been for his nine trips to the charity stripe. Young opened the season with back-to-back games reaching the 30-point mark, but he's been trending in the wrong direction over the last two contests.

Jalen Johnson - Best game of season Monday Johnson contributed 29 points (11-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Monday's 121-119 loss to the Wizards.

Impact It took Johnson a couple of games to get things going, but the star forward delivered an impressive two-way effort Monday, leading the Hawks in scoring and finishing just three assists away from a triple-double. Johnson figures to be a big part of the Hawks' short- and long-term future, and he's expected to operate as Atlanta's second-best offensive option behind Trae Young in 2024-25.
