Andre Drummond - Double-doubles Tuesday Drummond registered 20 points (7-13 FG, 6-10 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 132-121 victory over the Hornets.
Impact Drummond has started each of Brooklyn's last nine games and has three double-doubles in that span. His rebounding numbers have been a bit inconsistent, though, as he has recorded 10 or more boards just three times in that span. Definitively, more is expected out of him, especially since his scoring numbers haven't exactly been consistent in that span, either. He's averaging 10.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game across that nine-game stretch. His strong performance Tuesday is worth noting however, as it came with lLaMarcus Aldridge out with a knee injury, something that could allow for Drummond to see extra minutes in the short term.

Kevin Durant - Struggles from field Tuesday Durant ended with 14 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 40 minutes during Tuesday's 132-121 win over the Hornets.
Impact Durant didn't have a good performance Tuesday, as he needed 13 shots just to score 14 points. The star forward looked a bit out of rhythm, but he shouldn't have problems bouncing back sooner than later. His next chance to do will be Thursday when he goes up against James Harden and the 76ers. It's worth noting that this was Durant's first game in which he couldn't reach the 15-point mark if excluding the Jan. 15 game against the Pelicans in which he suffered the knee injury that sidelined him for more than a month.

Kyrie Irving - Erupts for 50-point performance Irving went off for 50 points (15-19 FG, 9-12 3Pt, 11-13 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 132-121 win over the Hornets.
Impact Iriving was absolutely unstoppable Tuesday and carried the team in a tough matchup with an efficient scoring output that saw him miss just four of his 19 field-goal attempts. It's worth noting Irving came through in the clutch at the moment the Nets needed him the most, as Kevin Durant had a below-average performance and Ben Simmons (back) has yet to debut for the team. Irving will be available for Thursday's game at Philadelphia, but he will miss three of the team's subsequent four games due to the vaccine-related mandates in New York.
