Impact Bassey played one minute of garbage time, just the third time he has seen the court all season. Following a torn ACL in December, Bassey has worked his way back into the rotation, albeit on a sporadic basis. He does possess an intriguing skill set, something we may get to see a bit more of further down the track, should the Spurs start looking to the future. At this point, he is unlikely to be anything more than a depth piece.

Impact Bassey was re-evaluated Tuesday in San Antonio, which confirmed initial fears of a serious injury for the 23-year-old. Bassey was on pace for a new career high in minutes played this season, producing 3.3 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 72.5 percent from the field in 10.8 minutes per game across 19 appearances. Dominick Barlow becomes a critical piece for San Antonio's G League affiliate, and he could earn promotions when the Spurs need frontcourt depth. Sandro Mamukelashvili also climbs in the depth chart.
