Eyeing early March return Grizzlies executive Zach Kleiman said Feb. 10 that Brooks (ankle) could return to the lineup in early March, Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian reports. Impact When Brooks was first diagnosed with a sprained left ankle Jan. 9, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the fifth-year swingman would be sidelined for 3-to-5 weeks. The longer end of that timeline has now come and gone, and Brooks has yet to take any meaningful steps forward in his recovery. Memphis could clear Brooks to resume basketball activities when the team reconvenes following the All-Star break, but even if that's the case, his absence looks like it will extend into next week. The Grizzlies haven't missed a beat sans Brooks, rolling to a 14-5 record while he's been sidelined for the past 19 games.
