Good to go for camp Pelicans vice president of basketball operations said Monday that Hawkins (ankle) is cleared for training camp this week, Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans reports. Impact Hawkins picked up a right ankle injury during the final game of the Summer League, but X-rays were negative. That was back in July, however, so Hawkins being 100 percent ready for camp isn't a huge surprise. Hawkins showed some promise as a rookie, posting averages of 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 three-pointers in 67 regular-season games.
