Impact Hawkins streak of games with multiple made threes extends to five following Saturday's loss. While he wasn't at his sharpest, Hawkins has still rained in 52.0 percent of 5.6 threes per game across his last nine contests, amounting to 2.9 made threes per night. Hawkins earning 29 minutes for a healthy Pelicans' rotation Saturday bodes well for his rest-of-season outlook.

Impact Hawkins drained six threes despite coming off the bench and reached the 20-point mark for the fifth time this season, which is impressive for a rookie who doesn't start regularly. Hawkins has improved regularly with each passing month and is going through his best stretch of the campaign of late, scoring in double digits in six of his nine appearances in January.

Hawkins will likely see heavy minutes and usage as a result. In five starts this season, Hawkins holds averages of 15.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 three-pointers.

He won't get many minutes while Brandom Ingram and Trey Murphy are playing, but Hawkins' brief outing Friday is a good sign for the 2023 first-round pick out of Connecticut.
