Status firmly clouded Porzingis (knee) was able to go through parts of Thursday's practice, but his status for Friday's game against the Spurs remains unclear, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post re... Impact Head coach Wes Unseld Jr. spoke about Porzingis after Thursday's session, but he provided virtually no clarity on the big man's status, saying the team has yet to decide if he'll play or sit Friday. Unseld went on to note Porzingis still has "no timetable," as the Wizards do not want to bring him back too soon while he recovers from a bone bruise in his right knee. Reading between the lines, it feels relatively unlikely that Porzingis will suit up Friday, and exactly what his role will be down the stretch remains to be seen. When healthy, he'll likely be Washington's No. 1 option, though the Wizards are clearly angling toward a rebuild, so fantasy managers should brace for the possibility of the team taking an overly cautious approach to Porzingis' workload over the next seven weeks.
