Out next four games Irving (ineligible) is set to miss the Nets' next four games, with his next opportunity play coming Feb. 26 in Milwaukee, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Impact Due to New York City's vaccine mandate, Irving remains ineligible to play at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where the Nets play three of their next four games. Within that stretch, the Nets will also have a road game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, where the mandate also applies to visiting players. Barring a change in his stance regarding vaccination or an update to New York City's or Toronto's policies, Irving will be eligible to play in only eight of the Nets' remaining 26 games. Irving's upcoming stretch of missed games could make it tough for fantasy managers who might already be down key contributors due to injury to continue holding the 29-year-old on rosters. Irving's impending absence is a tough blow to the shorthanded Nets, who have lost 11 games in a row and are likely to be without Kevin Durant (knee) and the newly acquired Ben Simmons (conditioning) through the All-Star break. Until the Nets get one of their new "Big Three" back in action, the likes of Patty Mills, Seth Curry and Cam Thomas could absorb most of the usage on offense.
