Impact Irving was uncharacteristically poor from the field in the loss, going just 6-of-19, including 0-of-6 from the perimeter. After a season full of uncertainty, he will be looking to shoulder a lot of the load for Brooklyn moving forward, making him a fringe first-round fantasy talent as long as he can stay healthy.

Impact For the second straight contest, Irving led Brooklyn in scoring while knocking down four three-pointers. The veteran guard was excellent in three exhibition contests, averaging 19.3 points, 4.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 three-pointers and 2.3 steals. He's a solid second-round pick in fantasy drafts for managers willing to overlook the fact that he's played fewer than 30 games two of the past three seasons.

Impact It was just his second game of the exhibition slate, but Irving looked to be near regular-season form, posting team highs with 33 minutes and 23 points. The veteran guard took a backseat in the assists department to Ben Simmons, who dished 10 dimes to Irving's four, which could be a frequent occurrence this season. Still, Irving should be a valuable fantasy asset given his ability to put up big numbers across the board and especially as a scorer and three-point shooter.
