Trey Murphy III - Lackluster results in defeat Murphy closed with two points (0-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 120-102 loss to the Lakers.
Impact Murphy had scored in double figures in his five appearances ahead of Wednesday's matchup, but he saw decreased playing time against the Lakers and failed to convert any of his field-goal attempts during the loss. Over seven outings in February, he's averaged 15.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 30.6 minutes per game.

Willy Hernangomez - Double-doubles against Lakers Hernangomez logged 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-5 FT) and 11 rebounds across 17 minutes during Wednesday's 120-102 loss to the Lakers.
Impact Larry Nance Jr. missed this game due to left groin soreness, but he could be back right after the All-Star break. Hernangomez certainly made the most of his minutes Wednesday, and he also cleaned up late with six points in the final few minutes due to the lopsided score.

Herbert Jones - Records five assists Jones closed Wednesday's 120-102 loss to the Lakers with 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and one steal across 30 minutes.
Impact Jones' offense comes and goes, but he has scored in double digits in three of his last four games. As for his defense, Jones has been elite with an average of 2.3 steals and 0.6 blocks per game over his last nine contests. His minutes will remain high for the foreseeable future with Zion Williamson (hamstring) suffering a setback.

CJ McCollum - Drops 22 points in return McCollum produced 22 points (8-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 120-102 loss to the Lakers.
Impact McCollum returned from a one-game absence due to a right ankle sprain and saw his usual workload. He'll now have a full week off to rest his ankle during the All-Star break. Once the Pelicans return Feb. 23 against the Raptors, McCollum and Brandon Ingram will continue to carry the load offensively with Zion Williamson (hamstring) recently suffering a setback.
