Impact Snell was in the closing lineup Thursday and was actually somewhat productive. Often viewed as a player who offers very little in terms of numerical production, this could be viewed as a real highlight for Snell. With that being said, managers do not need to make any adjustments to their fantasy rosters based on this performance. We would need to see about a month's worth of production before considering him in competitive formats.

Jaxson Hayes - Scores 18 points in starting role Hayes ended Thursday's 125-118 loss to the Mavericks with 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 26 minutes.
Impact Hayes shifted back into the starting lineup, turning in yet another intriguing performance. He has been one of the more talked about fringe options over the past two weeks, thanks to his increased role. While he did start the game, he was not in the closing lineup and so that needs to be factored in when breaking down this effort. Despite an element of doubt when it comes to his exact role, he should probably be added in most formats.

CJ McCollum - Goes off for season-high 36 points McCollum provided 38 points (14-26 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Thursday's 125-118 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact McCollum continued to thrive as the go-to scorer for his new team, scoring at least 30 points for the third time in just five games. Prior to being traded, McCollum had scored more than 30 points only twice all season, highlighting just how well he has been able to integrate himself into the Pelicans' offensive structures. As an added wrinkle, McCollum has handed out at least five assists in each of his five games, adding to his overall appeal moving forward.

Zion Williamson - Could need second surgery Williamson may require a second procedure to address complications in his recovery from right foot surgery, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Impact Clark writes that the surgery is "possible" but "nothing has been decided," so fantasy managers shouldn't panic just yet. However, this is another less-than-encouraging update on the 2019 No. 1 overall pick, who has yet to play in a single game this season. Earlier this month, the Pelicans said Williamson will be set for further imaging on his foot in the coming weeks, but he remains without a firm timetable to resume practicing, much less make a return to game action. After the All-Star break, roughly seven weeks will remain in the regular season, so Williamson may be running out of time to make a fantasy impact in 2021-22.
