Didi Louzada - Could return this season The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Louzada (knee) is expected to return to action before the end of the regular season.
Impact The 23-year-old has appeared in only five NBA games since joining the Pelicans late last season, and while it's still very much unclear where he fits into the Trail Blazers' future plans, it looks like they may try to get a look at him over the final two weeks of the regular season. Louzada has been sidelined since undergoing knee surgery on Feb. 4, but he's said to be in the final stages of his recovery. He has yet to debut for Portland, as he was acquired from New Orleans on Feb. 8 in the deal that sent CJ McCollum to the Pelicans.

Josh Hart - Out at least another week The Trail Blazers announced Hart (knee) will remain out for at least one more week before being re-evaluated.
Impact Hart continues to battle patellar tendinopathy in his left knee, an injury that has already cost him the last four games. While Portland stopped short of ruling him out for the remainder of the season, it's likely the forward will be shut down for good, given the Trail Blazers' status as a non-contending club. Since coming over in a Feb. 8 trade with the Pelicans, Hart has appeared in 13 games for Portland, averaging 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.4 three-pointers and 1.2 steals in 32.1 minutes.

Anfernee Simons - Officially done for season Portland announced Monday that Simons will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season due to patellar tendinopathy in his left knee.
Impact In addition to Simons, Jusuf Nurkic (foot) and Eric Bledsoe (Achilles) have also been shut down for what's left of the season. It's an unceremonious end to the campaign for Simons, who stepped into a larger role with Damian Lillard (abdomen) missing extensive time and CJ McCollum getting shipped to New Orleans at the deadline. The 2018 first-round pick will close his fourth NBA season with averages of 17.3 points, 3.9 assists, 3.1 three-pointers and 2.6 rebounds per game. He's on pace to lead the Blazers in total points, three-pointers and assists for the season.

Jusuf Nurkic - Ruled out for rest of season Portland announced Monday that Nurkic (foot) will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
Impact The news comes as little surprise, as the big man has not played since Feb. 16 and the 27-47 Trail Blazers only have eight games remaining in their regular-season schedule. Nurkic is said to be progressing well in his recovery from plantar fasciitis, and the free-agent-to-be should be back at full strength for the start of next season. Nurkic will close 2021-22 with averages of 15.0 points (53.5 FG%, 26.8 3Pt%, 69.0 FT%), a career-high 11.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Impact Williams paced the Blazers with eight dimes in the loss and tied for the team lead with 15 points. He didn't shoot particularly well from the field, but this was still a better result than the combined 4-for-23 mark he posted over his previous two games. Williams could hold onto the starting point guard role for the remainder of the campaign if Anfernee Simons (quadriceps) doesn't return to action.
