Impact Coulibaly, the seventh overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, didn't get into the scoring mix Wednesday but did lead the team in blocks. He also had three turnovers, the second-most on the team behind Jordan Poole, but that's to be expected for a rookie. He'll continue to get meaningful minutes off the bench and will look to build off his NBA debut Saturday when the Wizards host the Grizzlies.

Kyle Kuzma - Leading scorer in season opener Kuzma registered 25 points (9-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes in Wednesday's 143-120 loss to the Pacers.
Impact Kuzma signed a four-year, $90 million extension in the offseason after averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game in the 2022-23 season. He led the team in scoring in the campaign opener and posted a minus-10 in the plus/minus column, the best mark out of the five Wizards starters. Jordan Poole - Misses all six threes in Wiz debut Poole registered 18 points (7-18 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 143-120 loss to the Pacers.
Impact Poole was traded by the Warriors on June 22 in exchange for Chris Paul in a move the Wizards participated in to add scoring alongside forward Kyle Kuzma. Poole had an up-and-down preseason that included a 41-point performance Oct. 19 followed by a 1-of-15 shooting display just two days later. He was second on the team in scoring Wednesday behind Kuzma but missed all six of his three-point attempts while turning the ball over four times, which was most on the team.
