Since the Seahawks did elevate another running back (Josh Johnson), Peterson may still be working to recover from the sore lower back that has inhibited in him in practice of late. Peterson may be ready to go for Seattle's Week 16 game against the Bears, but even if he's added to the roster for that contest, he may find himself behind both Rashaad Penny and Collins in the pecking order for carries.

Alex Collins has served as the Seahawks' primary ball carrier since Chris Carson (neck) suffered a season-ending injury Week 4, but he's averaging a pedestrian 3.9 yards per carry and has just one gain of 20-plus yards across 101 totes. Collins is also listed as questionable for Sunday's game with an abdominal injury and may be at risk of sitting out, as could Rashaad Penny (hamstring), who is averaging only 2.5 yards per carry across the four games he's played this season.
