Impact Dillon finished with one more touch than Aaron Jones, though the latter turned his 18 touches into 170 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. The Packers still entrusted Dillon to run out the clock down the stretch despite a botched handoff in the third quarter that led to an Aaron Rodgers fumble. Dillon has out-touched Jones 34-26 through two weeks, but Green Bay's entire running game could find room sparse in Week 3 against the stout Buccaneers front.

It remains to be seen if the workload split between the two in the regular season is close to 50/50 the way it was after Week 10 last year following Jones' MCL sprain. Dillon had 180 total yards and two TDs in two matchups with Minnesota in 2021, including the game Jones missed (Week 11) due to the aforementioned knee injury.

Could catch 50-plus passes? Packers QB Aaron Rodgers recently said it's "realistic" for both Dillon and Aaron Jones to catch 50 passes this season, NFL.com's Kevin Patra reports.

Impact It's a reasonable enough task for Jones, who landed in the range of 47-52 receptions each of the past three seasons. Dillon is much less likely to get there, but it isn't out of the question after he showed impressive receiving skills for a big back last season with a 34-313-2 receiving line on 37 targets. The 247-pounder will never be the slickest route-runner, but he also hasn't dropped a pass in the NFL and remains rather difficult to tackle. Dillon took more work away from Jones as last season progressed, and with WR Davante Adams traded away this spring, there's some thought the Packers will find a way to give Dillon more touches without taking anything off Jones' plate.
