Re-ups with Colts Muhammad agreed Wednesday with the Colts on a one-year, $3.4 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Muhammad averaged 36 defensive snaps per game last season, accruing 23 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble across 16 appearances. Justin Houston has yet to re-sign with the Colts and is uncertain to return in 2021, so Muhammad will have a good chance to claim a starting role at defensive end if Indianapolis makes no other major additions at the position through free agency or the draft.
