Impact As anticipated, Scott took a backseat to Miles Sanders, who returned to a usual workload in his season debut. Sanders saw 23 touches to Scott's seven, going over 100 yards with a touchdown. Barring another setback for Sanders, Scott will be left to pick up scraps in this offense, and fantasy-relevant production will be difficult to attain.

The 25-year-old could still see work as a change-of-pace option against the Rams in Week 2, but with Corey Clement also handling occasional reps behind Sanders, he may not end up with enough opportunities to have a safe fantasy floor.

Impact Scott received the most carries out of the Philadelphia backfield, but he managed just 3.9 yards per rush against a tough defensive front. He made a couple of nice gains through the air but still finished with an uninspiring final stat line. Corey Clement and Jason Huntley combined for just 20 yards on seven carries, as the entire team struggled to get going after halftime. Scott was starting in place of Miles Sanders (hamstring), and he should see a diminished role if his teammate is deemed healthy enough to make his season debut in Week 2 against the Rams.

Impact The last time Scott sat atop Philadelphia's depth chart, the 25-year-old recorded 23 total touches, 138 total yards and three touchdowns in last year's Week 16 win over the Giants. While Scott will at least have Corey Clement and Jason Huntley to split some snaps with this time, it's entirely possible the backup could see a similar workload with Sanders set to miss Sunday's game. Washington's front four could pose some problems for Scott on between-the-tackles runs, but his ability to be a difference maker out of the backfield could make for a trendy play in PPR formats.

He also saw some work on punt and kick returns, so the inevitable Darren Sproles comparisons aren't solely based on his stature (5-foot-6). The Eagles probably wouldn't lean on Scott for huge workloads in the event of a Miles Sanders injury, but it is worth noting that the 25-year-old is listed at 203 pounds, making him stocky moreso than small. Beyond Sanders and Scott, the Eagles have Corey Clement and a trio of undrafted young players in their backfield.
