Scores twice in blowout win Scott rushed 12 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 44-6 win over the Lions. He was unable to haul in his only target. Impact Scott got the start and handled the first quarter for Philadelphia, capping their second drive off with a one-yard touchdown. Jordan Howard worked in once the second quarter started and scored a touchdown of his own. The two would end up splitting carries evenly and having almost identical days, scoring two touchdowns apiece. Kenneth Gainwell actually had one more carry than either of them did, but virtually all of his work came in garbage time, and the rookie wasn't nearly as effective. It looks like Scott and Howard are likely to split lead-back duties going forward, and they have another enticing matchup on tap Week 9 against a Chargers defense that coming into the week was allowing 5.4 YPC, the most in the NFL.
