Leading rusher Saturday Hill carried the ball 14 times for 63 yards and caught two of three targets for 19 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Bears. Impact While his numbers were solid, Hill may not have put any distance between himself and the other candidates fighting for depth roles in the Titans' backfield -- Mekhi Sargent got the start and gained 51 rushing yards and a TD, while the newly signed Javian Hawkins added 49 rushing yards and a touchdown and even fullback Khari Blasingame chipped in 64 combined yards. Hill also seemed to get shaken up on a run late in the game, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power, per John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com. Derrick Henry is of course locked into the lead role, with Darrynton Evans (leg) expected to be the No. 2 RB if he's healthy by Week 1, leaving Hill or whoever wins the No. 3 spot little opportunity for touches without an injury ahead of them.
