Impact According to Panthers coach Matt Rhule, the injury won't hold Haynes out for a long period of time but it is something the team will be careful about. After his best season yet, Haynes figures to have another strong statistical effort if he can stay healthy. The 27-year-old defensive end finished last season with 18 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble in 15 games. With Haynes out, Christian Miller and Brian Burns should see more reps in practice and in Carolina's next preseason game.

Impact The issue was minor, at least initially, given that Moore suited up for Thursday's practice and didn't seem to have any limitations until he aggravated his back. He could miss Saturday's exhibition with Baltimore, but there's been no indication the back injury is more than a day-to-day thing. Moore even wanted to return to practice after Thursday's minor incident, per Bill Voth of the Panthers' official site.
