Quiet end to campaign Edmonds rushed eight times for 28 yards and failed to catch his only target in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams. Impact Edmonds played despite dealing with rib and toe injuries recently, alternating time with fellow banged-up tailback James Conner (ribs) and Eno Benjamin. Although Edmonds led the team in rushes and yards on the ground, his totals were nothing special, and it was Conner who scored Arizona's lone touchdown with a two-yard rush during the third quarter. Despite missing five games, Edmonds was a strong complement to Conner during the regular season, posting career highs in carries (116) and rushing yards (592) while scoring twice. He also caught 43 of 53 targets for 311 yards. After that uptick in production, the 2018 fourth-rounder is slated to enter free agency this offseason, making it unclear whether his career will continue with the Cardinals or not.
