Impact Carson saw an increased workload in his second game back from a foot injury, increasing his touch total from 10 to 16. He out-carried Carlos Hyde 13-2 and ripped off three 11-yard rushes to average five yards per carry. Despite the relatively strong work on the ground, Carson's best production came as a receiver when he found the end zone on a 28-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. Moving forward, both volume and matchup should be on Carson's side in a Week 14 matchup against the Jets.

He proceeded to log limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday, but whatever he was able to do Friday, Carson managed to emerge from Week 13 prep sans a designation. With Carlos Hyde (toe) questionable to play this weekend and Travis Homer (wrist/thumb/knee) ruled out, Carson has a great chance to retake the reins as the head of the Seahawks backfield.

On Wednesday, Carson told Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest that he emerged from the contest "a little sore," which was evident in his limited listing at practice. Both Carson and Hyde (toe) were restricted to begin Week 13 prep, so their statuses will be something to watch as Sunday's game against the Giants approaches.

Impact Carson missed Seattle's last four games while nursing a foot injury, and although Carlos Hyde still led the Seahawks with 15 carries Monday, it was Carson who powered in a 16-yard touchdown during the second quarter. That play, coupled with the fact Hyde managed merely 22 rushing yards, bodes well for his earning more snaps as he continues to reacclimate to the lineup. Through seven games played this season, Carson now sports seven total touchdowns. Although his Week 13 matchup comes against a Giants defense that's surrendered under 4.0 yards per carry thus far, his tough running style could help break down that resistance, especially when considering he's now averaging nearly 5.0 yards per rush himself.
