He took advantage by doubling any other Texan in targets and yards, and Moore's performance was highlighted by gains of 36 and 31 yards. The only thing missing from his performance was a score, but he still tallied the highest yardage total in a single game of his career. If one of Collins or Cooks can return Week 15 against the Chiefs, Moore likely will see his role fade significantly, but he proved he can deliver with opportunity in Sunday's game.

Impact Moore has seen the majority of his snaps out of the slot this season, but because the 5-foot-9 Amari Rodgers likely isn't suited to play on the perimeter, Moore may be joining Phillip Dorsett as a replacement for the two injured outside receivers. Houston is also expected to add a receiver or two from the practice squad prior to Sunday's game, but among the three healthy wideouts currently on the 53-man roster, Moore leads the way with 314 receiving yards on the season.

Even if Cooks remains sidelined, it will be difficult to trust Moore moving forward given the state of Houston's offense.

Impact Houston has three wide receivers on its practice squad that it could elevate in advance of Thursday's game to provide additional depth, but that group has only one career NFL reception among them and likely wouldn't be significant threats to poach playing time from the likes of Moore, Dorsett and Johnson. Moore and Dorsett were already thrust into elevated roles in the Week 8 loss to the Titans while Collins was sidelined, but Moore failed to draw a target while playing 65 percent of the snaps on offense. Moore, who owns a 10-128-1 receiving line on 16 targets over his six games this season, should have a better chance of being a factor this week with Cooks joining Collins on the sideline, but Moore won't be a safe bet to turn in a fantasy-friendly stat line.
